Pimco ESG chief to exit

Pimco ESG chief to exit

Pimco's head of environmental, social and governance (ESG) portfolio management, Alex Struc, is to exit the firm at the end of the month.

Struc leaves in the wake of changes in portfolio management roles at the firm, which includes Mike Amey being named as the new head of ESG, Citywire USA reported.

In addition, Amey takes Struc’s role within the portfolio management line-up on the US-domiciled $930.7 million Pimco Total Return ESG fund and the $175.4 million Pimco Low Duration ESG fund. Scott Mather remains lead on the US-domiciled funds, while Andrew Balls remains in place on the global strategies.
