AXA's multi-cap robotics fund is among the latest additions to the list of vehicles in which Chile’s pension funds are able to invest.
Chile’s market regulator, the Comisión Clasificadora de Riesgo (CCR), added the Luxembourg-domiciled AXA World Funds - Framlington Robotech Bonds to its roster, which is updated every month.
AXA launched the fund, which mirrors a 2-year old strategy designed for the Japanese market, to play the ‘robotics revolution’ that will see the market grow by 10% a year until 2025, sister site Citywire Selector reported in January. Citywire + rated manager Jeremy Gleeson and Tom Riley run the vehicle.
The CCR revealed in its October report it had also added five other mutual funds and four ETFs, including Ucits by Chilean firm LarrainVial and Peruvian asset manager Credicorp.
