An international fixed income fund selector has left Credicorp Capital in Colombia after three years with the firm.
On August 8, senior analyst Christiam Echeverry left a four-person portfolio solutions team within the firm's asset management arm to take on a personal project in the US.
Echeverry's responsibilities will be split among the remaining team, portfolio manager David Cely and analyst Daniel Calderón, the firm confirmed. The team is led by Angela Maria Fina.
In March, the group saw the exit of fund selector Felipe Becerra Zapata, who left to join multinational commercial real estate group Colliers. Credicorp also passed on his responsibilities to Cely.
The team selects international assets, including mutual funds, for mandates, trusts and investment funds.
Fina's team is part of the larger Credicorp group, a Peruvian financial services company with offices in its home country, as well as in Colombia, Panama and Chile, according to its website. It runs more than $8.8 billion in assets across the region.
