About Martin Wilhelm
Martin Wilhelm was born in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1964 and studied in Frankfurt. Previous to founding Institut für Kapitalmarkt, he was head of liquid and credit trading at Landesbank and director in global markets at Deutsche Bank, where he worked for sixteen years. Managing the Value Renten fund at IfK, Martin looks for value in corporate and government bonds worldwide. He employs fundamental valuation techniques with scoring models, and cash is a tactical element of his investment strategy. Martin is a Certified European Financial Analyst and member of the Society of Investment Professionals in Germany and the Association of German Foundations. Outside of fund management he enjoys playing golf, tennis, football, water sports and skiing, and cites history and classic cars amongst his interests.
