Caroline Gauthier is currently co-Head of European small & mid cap equities and portfolio manager at Amundi. Caroline started as a sell side analyst on small & mid cap equities at ING in 1997. She joined Amundi in 2000 and served as a buy side analyst on European small & mid cap equities, and in 2007 was promoted to portfolio manager and started managing European small & mid cap funds. She holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Paris-Dauphine and is a member of SFAF (Société Française des Analystes Financiers).

Patrice Piade

Patrice Piade is currently a portfolio manager at Amundi. Based in Paris, he specialises in European small cap equities. Patrice started his career as a financial analyst at Détroyat Associés in 1997. In 2000 he moved to Exane BNP Paribas and worked as a mid-cap sell side analyst. He holds an Engineering degree from ESIM (Ecole Supérieure d'Ingenieurs de Marseille) and a master in Technology and Innovation Management from Paris Dauphine University. Outside of fund management, Patrice enjoys golf and skiing.


The investment objective of the Fund is to participate in the evolution of the market of small and medium enterprises and mid size companies, mainly from the euro zone, selecting stocks that have, according to the management company, the more upside potential over the medium term.
