Christopher Hart was born in Miami, Florida during the late sixties and attended Clemson University in South Carolina where he graduated with a degree in corporate finance. He started his career in 1991 as an analyst at Fidelity. After an 11 year stint he moved to Boston Partners Asset Management, which was acquired by Robeco in 2002. Outside of managing funds Christopher lists his hobbies as skiing, fishing and playing golf.

The Sub-fund takes exposure of at least two-thirds of its total assets to equities of companies which have their registered office or exercise a preponderant part of their economic activities in Europe. The Sub-fund aims to capture a higher performance by also investing in small/mid cap companies next to large cap companies and also refers to the Sub-funds aim for a higher performance by focusing on companies with attractive value characteristics (undervalued), strong business fundamentals (high returns on invested capital) and improving momentum (improving trends/rising earnings).
