Claude Tiramani graduated from the Institut des Techniques Bancaires (ITB) in 1989. He started his career in 1982 in BNP Paribas’ International Operation centre before becoming a credit officer in 1987. Claude has been a portfolio manager dedicated to New markets since 1990 and has been the lead mananger of the Parvest China fund since 1995. He has also been the head of the Global Emerging market equities team from 2000 to 2003 and since 2002 he has resumed his management responsibilities for Eastern European equities.

Objective

The manager aims to take advantage of opportunities created by growth in China (including Hong Kong) to outperform, over the recommended investment period, the index MSCI China Net Dividend Reinvested. The management strategy aims to select stocks with the best stock market outlook (recovery potential and most attractive earnings potentials) with good medium-term visibility. The portfolio is permanently exposed, directly or indirectly, to equity risk by 90% minimum and 110% maximum.
